Chesterwye Center is currently accepting resumes for a Maintenance Assistant (MA) and is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor.
Schedule:
Part-Time to Full-time DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Working with Chesterwye agency vehicles Maintaining vehicle records Registration renewal dates Oil change information Emissions information Keeping agency vehicles clean Maintaining spare keys to vehicles Marking sure all appropriate documents are inside each vehicle Switching out insurance cards as necessary Working with Maintenance Supervisor on all other maintenance facets of the agency.
This includes:
Main office building/Day Program All 9 homes that Chesterwye operates
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
Valid driver's license with one year's experience with less than two (2) points.
Other skills required:
Must take and maintain Driver Safety certification to be able to drive a company vehicle.
Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings.
The employee will occasionally lift and/or move no more than 50 Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used:
Hoyer lift, wheelchair, Barrier Free Lift, Life Vans.
